Welcome to my website!  I am a dog lover first, and a dog trainer second. I know from first-hand experience the difference dog training makes in the relationship between dog and owner. Without professional training it can sometimes be a frustrating relationship, but with an investment in good training a wonderful transformation will occur.

I am an Army veteran that served in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and a former fire fighter.  Upon the return of my deployment in 2004, I recognized that veterans benefited greatly from dogs in many ways such as companions, therapy and service dogs. I then decided to put my compassion and people skills in the civilian world and become a certified dog trainer.  During my experience working with dogs and their owners, there is nothing which satisfies me more than to see a happy dog and a happy owner!

My mission statement:

My mission is to educate dog owners so dog ownership becomes a joyful experience with harmony between dog and master.  This is done through positive, patient and gentle methods that are fun and stimulating for dogs as well as for their owners.  Over time, the bond between a dog and their owner can become stronger which will reduce the chances of giving up their dog to a shelter or worse because of unwanted and/or unruly behavior.  I would be honored to help you and your dog enjoy many happy years together.

Dog lovers obviously LOVE their dogs.  They buy them good food, treats and toys so why not invest in dog training?  Most people just don't know how to train their best friend and inadvertently  allow or "teach" their dog things that may become a nuisance later on.  Lack of training is the number one reason dogs end up in a shelter or even worse, euthanized.

I only use positive, gentle and fun methods to teach dogs and I pass this on to their owners.  Studies have proven over and over again, that teaching dogs in a loving, gentle, patient and consistent way, lessens the chance of a dog becoming aggressive and or unmanageable.  Teaching a dog to respect you and obey you through the owner learning good leadership is the goal.
